Common questions

How do I get the beta?

Sett is iPhone-only today, and it is distributed through Apple’s TestFlight — it is not on the App Store yet, and there is no Android app. Join the beta from the homepage and we’ll email you an invite as we open it up in small batches. One email when your invite is ready. No newsletter, no launch countdown.

I forgot my password.

On the login screen, tap Forgot password? and enter the address on your account. We’ll send you a 6-digit code — enter it, choose a new password (at least 6 characters), and you’re signed in. If the code doesn’t arrive, wait a minute and tap Resend code; codes expire, so use the newest one.

How do I delete my account?

In the app: Profile → Settings → Account → Delete account. You’ll be asked to confirm twice — the second step has you type DELETE. It is immediate, permanent, and not recoverable: it removes your profile, workouts, coach memory, conversations, share links, and everything else attached to your account from our database.

Two things it does not do. It does not take you off the email waitlist, which is keyed to your email address rather than your account — email us and we’ll remove you. And it does not purge copies already held by our processors, which age out under their own retention policies. The privacy policy spells both out.

Can I get a copy of my data?

Not from inside the app yet — there is no self-serve export. Email us from the address on your account and we’ll put a copy together manually.

How do I report a bug?

Email support@sett.coach. Tell us what you were doing, what you expected, and what happened instead, and attach a screenshot if you can. Sett is a beta: features change, bugs are expected, and the reports are how they get fixed.

Is the coach a real person?

No. Sett builds your workouts and training programs and tracks your sets; the coach you talk to is software — a large language model, today OpenAI’s. It answers the way a coach would, but nothing it says is written by a person, and it can be wrong. It is not a doctor, a physical therapist, or a licensed trainer, and nothing it produces is medical advice. Talk to a physician before starting a training program, and stop if something hurts. The terms cover this in full.

How old do I have to be?

18 or older. Sett is not intended for children, and if we learn an account belongs to someone under 18 we will delete it.
